da 888: Liverpool defender Glen Johnson has stated that he feels team-mate Luis Suarez is being victimised by referees.
da cassino online: The Uruguay international has caused controversy since moving to England in January 2011, with an eight-match ban handed down by the FA after the forward racially abused Patrice Evra.
Suarez has also generated a reputation for diving, and Johnson feels that referees should officiate decisions without looking at the specific players involved.
“Everybody has to do their job and they have to forget who they are looking at. They just have to make the decisions. They can’t let anything from the past affect their decisions. They have to call the shots at the time, regardless of who it is,” the England right-back told The Telegraph.
“I almost guarantee that if you flipped the situation, if Luis was in the position of Antonio Valencia, he wouldn’t get a penalty. We all know that.
“Reputations go in front of people at times and because Valencia is not someone who is known as a diver, he gets the decision.
“We expect the referees to make the right decisions,” he concluded.
Suarez was denied a penalty in the Reds’ 2-1 loss to Manchester United on Sunday.
