da roleta: The Daily Mail reported last week that Everton were one of the Premier League clubs to have expressed an interest in Norwich City right-back Max Aarons.
da stake casino: The 20-year-old is currently enjoying his debut season in the English top flight after helping the Canaries win promotion from the Championship last term, and he has played in 19 of their 21 fixtures to date in the first tier.
The youngster has clearly impressed both during the current campaign and previously given The Daily Mail says that the Toffees, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and West Ham United are all keen on him.
Meanwhile, the Merseyside outfit may well be searching for additions both during the current January transfer window and in the summer now they have appointed Carlo Ancelotti as Marco Silva’s successor, although it would be a surprise if the right-back position was a priority this month.
It’s the dawn of a new decade in the Premier League, but how much do you know about the last 10 years?
Indeed, they have captain Seamus Coleman and loanee Djibril Sidibe who can play there, with the experienced Italian boss favouring playing both in recent matches – the former as a right-sided centre-back in a three-man defence, with the latter as a wing-back.
It didn’t really work well in the 1-0 defeat against Liverpool last time out however, and it remains to be seen whether Ancelotti carries on using it or reverts back to a more balanced 4-4-2.
Coleman’s performances have been questioned by some fans on Twitter this term, with the Republic of Ireland international’s displays clearly not at the same level as previously during his career.
This season in his 13 Premier League outings, he has one assist and has successfully completed 2.5 dribbles per game from an attacking point of view, while he has averaged 1.2 tackles and 0.8 interceptions defensively, as per WhoScored.
When you compare him to Aarons, who has been playing in a side currently situated in the drop-zone, he has zero assists in 19 matches, has completed 1.4 dribbles per game and has averaged 0.6 tackles and 1.3 interceptions, also per WhoScored.

So all in all when looking at those key traits for a full-back, we can see that the 20-year-old only gets the better of his more senior opponent when it comes to successful tackles, while he has also averaged more key passes (0.8) than Coleman’s 0.5, but has no assists to show for them.
Aarons may well be a player with a bright future, but these statistics suggest the jury is very much out on whether he would be able to come in and replace the Everton skipper were he to sign before the deadline.
