United States men's national team forward Haji Wright scored a significant brace against Millwall in the English Championship on Sunday.

Wright has seven caps for the USMNT and put on a show against Millwall on Sunday. First, he scored from 12 yards after a penalty was awarded to bring Coventry level, and he added a second with a cool finish from just inside the area, into the bottom corner. The brace means he now has 11 goals in all competitions this season, with 10 in the league.

Wright has been in excellent form for Coventry and has now scored four goals and provided three assists in his last seven appearances. The club currently sit within the play-off places of the Championship, so promotion to the Premier League could realistically be achieved.

Coventry face Plymouth Argyle on Wednesday in another league game, and then face Stoke City next weekend. They have also progressed to the fifth round of the FA Cup, where they will face non-league Maidstone United on February 26.
