The Ukraine international moved to Stamford Bridge in the winter transfer window of 2023. He shunned interest from other clubs, including Arsenal, in order to make his way to west London. The 23-year-old has, however, found the going tough in England.

Having gone 23 games without finding the target for Chelsea, he eventually opened his account against Fulham in October 2023. He finished that campaign with seven efforts to his name. More was expected of Mudryk, with consistency still proving elusive.
