da luck: Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has said that he was “very happy” with all aspects of his team’s pre-season tour of the United States.
da aposte e ganhe: The Red Devils travelled to the States earlier this month, and after beating MLS duo Los Angeles Galaxy and Real Salt Lake in their first two pre-season matches, the 20-time English champions overcame Manchester City and Real Madrid.
The tour ended with a 1-0 defeat to Ernesto Valverde’s Barcelona on Wednesday night, but Mourinho has paid tribute to the “great organisation” that went into the USA tour.
Mourinho told MUTV:
“I am very happy. No injuries because Mata and Herrera in this moment, I don’t think we are talking about injuries.
“They will be back to training I think next Saturday, no problem to be back to training, so no injuries, a fantastic atmosphere, a fantastic working ethic, great organisation.”
Man United have now returned to England, and the English giants will continue their preparations for the new campaign with a clash against Norwegian side Valerenga in Oslo on Sunday night.
Mourinho’s side will then take on Italian side Sampdoria in the Republic of Ireland on August 2, before travelling to Macedonia to face Champions League holders Real Madrid in the European Super Cup on August 8.
