da esport bet: Southampton attacker Sofiane Boufal joined La Liga side Celta Vigo on a season-long loan deal during the summer transfer window having fallen out with Mark Hughes towards the end of the 2017/18 campaign, and Saints fans have been debating whether he could succeed under new manager Ralph Hasenhuttl.
The talented Morocco international struggled to make an impact for the south coast outfit ever since making a big-money move from Lille in the summer of 2016, scoring just four goals and adding three assists in 59 appearances in all competitions for them as he failed to hold down a regular spot in the starting XI.
After he refused to warm up during the April defeat to Chelsea at St Mary’s, the 25-year-old was banished to train with the U23s and then left for Spain, but he could well be a player that is of interest to Hasenhuttl given he looks to be perfect to fill one of the attacking roles in his preferred 4-2-2-2 system – as long as he is willing to put in the hard yards, too.
Southampton supporters have been quick to deliver their verdict on the North African forward via social media, and while one said he “would be a huge influence if Ralph can get the best out of him”, another simply said “we won’t see him in a Saints shirt again”.
