da bet sport: There is plenty of speculation about potential incomings at Elland Road right now. Today’s Leeds transfer roundup includes a loan offer for a Premier League star, interest in a West Ham player and an update in regards to a Serie A legend.
Offer made for Harrison
According to Football Insider, the Whites have tabled a loan offer of at least £1m for Manchester City’s Jack Harrison. The 22-year-old spent last season on loan at Elland Road, and Marcelo Bielsa and co are interested in taking him back for a second campaign.
Hugill on radar
Sunday’s edition of the Sun on Sunday (June 23rd, page 60) via HITC reported that Leeds would be interested in West Ham United’s Jordan Hugill if they lose one of their front men this summer. Sheffield Wednesday are also credited with an interest in the 6 foot striker.
Totti receives Championship offer, could be Leeds
Francesco Totti could be on his way to Leeds if Marco Borriello’s interview on Sky Italia is anything to go by. The Italian used to play with Totti at Roma, and met him recently on holiday in Spain. In the interview, he says that Totti was contacted by the manager of a Championship club.
When asked if it was Leeds, the UD Ibiza player responded, “I don’t know”. Totti has been retired for two years, so it would be surprise to see him take up a playing role. However, Tutto Roma and Fox Italia have both run wild with the story, suggesting the offer was indeed from the Yorkshire club.
