According to SofaScore, he lost possession for the Gunners on 17 occasions, and it was seemingly something that didn’t go unnoticed by supporters of their arch-rivals watching the match.

Lamela has largely always divided opinion among the Spurs faithful, although he has been a more regular part of the starting XI this season when Son Heung-min was suspended and with Dele Alli suffering with injury issues, starting six of their seven Premier League fixtures to date.
However, it still appears that the following fans still don’t think really highly of him, even if they appear to ultimately be saying that they’d rather have him than the £72m Ivorian.
While one individual said “Pepe makes Lamela look world class”, another said “honestly think I’d prefer Lamela over Pepe”.
