Jurgen Klopp’s men lost possession 68 times in the opening period, as the Red Devils hustled and harried their opponents non-stop. But in the second-half, the home side appeared to retreat further and further back, and eventually conceded a late equaliser.
After seeing their side let go a of a potentially crucial three points, United fans took to Twitter to criticise Solskjaer for his decision-making after the break.
Many supporters of the Manchester side insisted the United boss should have made changes to keep things fresh, and felt the decision not to, cost them.
